Arrive 18:00-19:00 or you queue in a crush. After 20:00 Grab is slow. Locals still come, but this is no longer a neighbourhood pasar malam. For that, look at Bukit Beruang, Ayer Molek, Malim Jaya. The daytime street is typed as street (jalan-hang-jebat). Cheng Hoon Teng stays an attraction even when the market is running.
